What this guy said.

"No one is listening to anyone else.  There’s no room for facts.  There’s no room for debate, and no room for reason, and no room for a centrist like me.  How sad is that."

(Well, I don’t land very often in the center. though among a hard crowd of lefties, I do.  Beyond this, to him I say, AMEN.)

Can there be any room for a centrist at a health care reform town hall meeting

  1. I would just like to add these facts:
62 percent of personal bankruptcies are due to extraordinary medical expenses.
78 percent of that number are people who HAVE HEALTH INSURANCE but that insurance didn’t adequately cover those expenses.

    • So very little of this is about health care. It’s just a place to vent whatever rage and ignorance has been festering. I’d be outraged, but I’ve been so outraged about so much so long that I just want to brace until it’s over.
What burns me is when it’s Medicare and Social Security beneficiaries in there sniping and snarling about death panels and socialism. YOU’RE IN IT, BITCHES.
